First time to Momma Goldberg's! If I had known how awesome this place was I would not have waited to long to try it out. It doesn't take long to realize that even before you order that you are about receive a quality sandwich. The real wood tables and the reusable plastic cup let you know that Momma is series about her sandwiches!
I went with the Momma's Love, their signature sandwich. It comes with roast beef, ham, and hickory smoked turkey breast with muenster cheeses served on a seeded bun. I went "all the way" with the toppings, but easy on the mayo. I appreciate that they seem the sandwich right before serving which fuses everything together and gives you a nice warm sandwich.
I was originally going grab a sandwich to go, but was asked if I wanted chips or nachos. You had me at nacho, but I was still a little confused. She explained that the nachos were Doritos topped with with melted pepper jack and jalapeños. So technically nachos, but more like highly elevated Doritos. The nachos were great, but I would recommend eating them quickly while the cheese is still gooey.
I was super impressed with Momma Goldberg's! One of the best places for lunch under $10 without a doubt!
